What really is Bioavailability?
Bioavailability (BA) is a term used in pharmacology and nutritional and environmental sciences. In the Merriam-Webster Dictionary bioavailability is defined as the degree and rate at which a substance (such as a drug) is absorbed into a living system or is made available at the site of physiological activity. Bioavailability is an essential measurement tool since it determines the correct dosage for non-intravenous administration of a drug. Bioavailability of a drug is largely determined by the properties of the dosage form, which depend partly on its design and manufacture.
Differences in bioavailability among formulations of a given drug can have clinical significance; thus, knowing whether drug formulations are equivalent is essential. Determining the absolute bioavailability of a drug is done through a pharmacokinetic study. The plasma drug concentration is plotted against time and measures concentration vs time after intravenous and non-intravenous administration.
Non-intravenous applications include oral, rectal, transdermal, subcutaneous and sublingual. The bioavailability of a drug varies from person to person. It may be affected by physiological and other factors including whether the drug is taken with other drugs or with or without food, and the presence of a disease that affects the gastrointestinal system or liver function.
Efficacy is defined as the ability to produce a desired or intended result.
Zero+ is different than other products because of its bioavailability and its efficacy. Zero+ has up to 100% bioavailability meaning all of the active ingredients are delivered to the problematic site. This results in much greater efficacy meaning, that you will feel the results from the product as well as relief immediately.
In order, to get our product to have incredible bioavailability, we have created a technique to enhance the lipid molecules from having only low bioavailability to up to 100%.
